  1.         So you've got the shareware version of DOOM and you're pissed because
  2. it only runs multi-player under IPX and you've got lantastic.  Well fret
  3. NO LONGER !!!

  5. The file 'IPX.COM' will enable your Artisoft AE-2 card to run IPX !!
  6.  
  7. Make sure your AE-2 card jumpers are set for IRQ 2 and IOBASE 300.
  8.  
  9. Run IPX.COM and then run SETUP in your DOOM directory.
  10.  
  11. Select 'Set Up & Run Network Game' and select the options you wish to play
  12. under.

  14. Make sure to leave the IPX socket set to 0.

  16. Then just hit F10 !!!

  18. You can run DOOM multiplayer while lantastic is still running but you will
  19. have to reboot each time you leave the game.
